She's looking at the Pagan/Wiccan websites that Jenny Calendar frequented, and is learning something about magic. This seems to be the beginning of her magical career. At about 21:00, she presents her plan for exorcising the ghost which involves casting a spell. I believe this is the first time we see Willow cast a spell, and it's the second time, after Dark Ages, that she's the one who solves the problem and saves the day. Mighty oaks do from tiny acorns grow.

Xander's Locker Monster

About 10:15, Buffy looks into Xander's locker, from which a monster arm just tried to grab him. Inside, we see a poster for "The Luv Show" and a small red doll hanging from its neck. "The Luv Show" I'd forgotten, from the internet I learn it was a musical album by Ann Magnuson released in 1995, so it was contemporary. It was the "soundtrack" to an imaginary musical. The doll may have been a red Decade Beanie Baby, first released in 1997. Would a Beanie Baby collector hang it up by the neck?

I know Xander is into popular culture, but this is "gosh." He must be channeling Joss Whedon.
