"After the Fall, Part Seven", also known as "First Night, Part Two", was the seventh issue of the After the Fall comic book series.

Synopsis

The second 'First Night' issue initially focuses on Wesley's after-death awareness, including a visit from an unnamed female temptress who is acting on the Senior Partners' behalf. She pretends to be Fred, but Wesley is not fooled. The scene then shifts to Connor's situation; Kate Lockley arrives, armed to the teeth, and "rescues" Connor, taking him to her well-armed lair. In the present day, Betta George is still held captive by Gunn's lackeys, and it is shown that Gunn's vampires have been training against captive Slayers.

Lorne

Lorne's first night in hell is depicted in a song, with artwork that is more of a cartoon than the rest. The song tells of how Lorne left Angel and his friends after killing Lindsey McDonald. After L.A is sent into hell, Lorne takes the first cab as far away as possible; to Silverlake. After banding together with the citizens of Silverlake and a witch, Lorne creates a violence free zone in the middle of hell, which he becomes the Lord of.

Betta George

Betta George's story picks up again after Lorne's segment, in which he tries to tempt his vampire captor into doing something he isnt supposed to. Betta's second segment ends with him saying his is going to get Spike to kill Tank, who then procees to assault Betta George.

Wesley

Kate

Kate Lockley's story begins where Connor's ended. She saves him from the group of demons by fending them off with her large array of weapons that include a shotgun, multiple pistols and multiple swords. Kate and Connor then escape in Kate's car. During the drive, Connor concludes that Kate doesnt know that he is Angel's son, and that she might not even know who Angel is. Kate and Connor arrive at the former's weapons dealer's house, only to find her dealer has fled. She leaves Connor in the safety of the house, and leaves to go save more people.

Continuity

The story is set after "Not Fade Away", but before "After the Fall, Part One".
