Summary[]

Buffy and two other Slayers break into the stronghold of the legendary vampire, Dracula. They are in an effort to rescue Xander, who has been enthralled to serve as Dracula's manservant.

Buffy and Dracula fight, and the vampire laments how he has become a joke, warning the Slayer that she too will become antiquated one day. Buffy ridicules Dracula for his "mid-life crisis," and he eventually agrees to release his Xander from his trance.

Dracula bids Xander goodbye, thanking him for the time they spend together. Alone again, Dracula resumes his elderly appearance.

Quotes[]

Dracula: "The world cycles... Each generation must negate the generation before it. Overstay your welcome, and you'll become a tall tale for children. Fodder for terrible films and television serials. All because you committed the one cardinal sin: you aged."
Dracula: "Ah, yes... Miss Summers and her Slayers. Heroes such as yourselves would never be frightened by something as commonplace as... a swarm of bees!"
Buffy: "I think I'm allergic to bees. No, wait — I'm allergic to soy."
