The Blinnikov World Ballet Corps was a ballet company directed by Count Kurskov. Their premiere piece was Giselle, which they have performed at least since 1890, as the Count had trapped the Prima Ballerina in a time bubble to reenact the same performance every night.[1]

Count Kurskov was a wizard who discovered that the Prima Ballerina, whom he adored, had a lover, so he forced her into a temporal shift in which she would dance for him forever. As an eternal echo of the same performance, the Prima Ballerina's foot slipped a little every time during the courtship dance.[1]
Angel saw their production of Giselle in 1890, and, despite him being evil, it made Angel cry "like a baby."[1]
In 2002, Angel took Cordelia, Fred, Gunn, and Wesley to the ballet. Angel recognized the dancers from the presentation decades before, and the Angel Investigations team went to investigate. They learned the truth by experiencing past events themselves and fought Kurskov's demons guarding the theater.[1]
Angel convinced the Prima Ballerina to break the magic holding her prisoner by changing the dance. Angel smashed Kurskov's power center, which made the ballet dancers disappear, including the Prima Ballerina.[1]
