There were lots of shamans referred in both of the series. Was it ever clearly explained how they were a separate class from witches? FTWinchester (talk) 12:33, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
All magical names are simply based on their belief system or preferred title. Some Witches even go by sorcereress or Wiccans. Some Wizards go by magician, sorcerer,mage, etc. I don't think there is a huge difference, but It might be a simple spiritual connection they believe in or a form of magic they exclusively practice idk.
