Christophe Beck is a composer whose work includes original score for the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Beck has also made an appearance on Buffy as a pianist.
Career[]
Beck had the Canadian TV series White Fang as his first assignment as a composer in 1993. Several TV series later, he was asked to score the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for which he Beck received an Emmy Award. In 2000, the film Bring It On launched his film career, which includes such diverse credits as Under the Tuscan Sun, Edge of Tomorrow, Crazy Stupid Love, Pitch Perfect, and The Hangover trilogy.
More recently, Beck scored the Oscar and Grammy-winning animated film Frozen, Frozen II, both of Marvel's Ant-Man films, and the Disney+ series WandaVision and Hawkeye.

Beck was the main composer for Buffy the Vampire Slayer through the years of 1997 to 2001. He later returned to compose for the key episodes. He also composed for Angel from 1999 to 2000.

- Beck won an Emmy Award in 1998 as Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Dramatic Underscore) with the episode "Becoming, Part One."[1]

Beck appears in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4 episode "Restless" as a pianist. He also is interviewed in The Complete Fourth Season on DVD featurettes "Buffy Inside the Music" and "Hush."
