Starring

Title Sequence

The title sequence is all we see of the sitcom. Though as mentioned in the opening credits, there are other actors starring, but their faces are usually seen from the side to highlight the appearance of Cordelia. The opening credits are presented in scrawly purple font. Several scenes seen during the title sequence include:

  • Cordelia riding a bicycle
  • Several scenes of purely Cordelia smiling
  • Cordelia accidentally dropping a tray of food on a man at a sophisticated dinner party
  • Cordelia adjusting a pale blue shirt on a mannequin in a design studio
  • Cordelia kissing an unknown male
  • An unknown male presenting Cordelia with flowers while she is sitting on a park bench
  • Cordelia doing cartwheels in the park
  • Three shots of Cordelia laughing in the same position and location
  • Cordelia and an unknown female jumping up and down excitedly with a large amount of money in both's hands.
  • Another shot of Cordelia riding a bicycle
  • The same male from earlier being hit by Cordelia with the flowers he presented her with
  • Cordelia and an unknown female ordering coffees while talking from a coffee stand in the park
  • Cordelia taking thrusting her arms out only to hit a bystander accidentally
  • Cordelia playing with a large golden labrador

Theme Song

The theme song was sung by Marti Noxon and David Greenwalt and written by David Greenwalt - and it appeared in the title sequence.

Yes, you can hear it in her laughter.
Ooh, you can see it in her smile.
Yeah, you'll be hanging from the rafters.
Ooh, you better stay awhile.
Ooh, better stay awhile.
Yes, the whole world is full of laughter.
Ooh, you got my heart a little wired.
Yeah, you'll be hanging from the rafters.
Ooh, better stay awhile.
Ooh, you better stay awhile.
Ooh, better stay awhile..."

Behind the Scenes

This is the original song written, from the shooting script.

Small town girl
In the big time world
Kuh-Kuh-Kuh Cordy
Kuh-Kuh-Kuh Cordy
Designin' fashion is her life's passion
Kuh-Kuh-Kuh Cordy
Kuh-Kuh- Kuh Cordy
Forget Gucci, Prada and Versace
She works with what she's got
She's Kuh-Kuh-Kuh Cordy
COR-DEE!!
