Debbie Foley was a Sunnydale High student and girlfriend of Pete Clarner. She was a friend of Jeffrey Walken and Daniel Osbourne and played in the jazz band with them.

Debbie was physically and mentally abused by Pete, who was an extremely jealous and abusive individual. Debbie, unfortunately, played the part of a woman torn between caring for someone who hurt them, and manipulated into believing that the abusive behavior was a manageable part of their relationship. Pete's abuse eventually reached a peak and he killed Debbie.
