Elisabeth was a rather old and powerful vampire and the lover of James.
She and James traveled with Angelus and Darla in France. It was there James stole a silver heart shaped necklace for her. She and Darla would escape while James and Angelus were confronted by Holtz.
Centuries later after she and James had come to LA, she and a group of vampires attacked a college party, draging a young couple off. Elisabeth would taunt the man asking him if he's sacrifice his girlfriend to save himself.
Elisabeth was killed when Angel staked her. She recognized him as her last words were "Angelus?" before she turned to dust.
Her death sent James into a suicidal depression and a drive for revenge which caused him to have his heart removed. The process would make him invincible, but prove fatal.
Unlike Darla and Angelus, who would abandon each other to save themselves, James and Elisabeth were completely devoted to each other, coming as close as demons can to love.
She was portrayed by Kate Norby.
