Emily Djiemanowicz was a Sunnydale High student who was scheduled to dance in the 1997 talent show. However, she was killed by the demon Marc, who ripped out her heart as part of a ritual he would perform that would allow him to retain human form.

• She was portrayed by Krissy Carlson.

• Her last name was revealed in the Sunnydale High Yearbook.

• Although Marc's subsequent attempted victims—Morgan Shay and Rupert Giles—were apparently selected due to his need for a brain and their high intellects, it was never specified if Emily was chosen as his original sacrifice for a particular reason (Although her talents as a dancer may just mean that her heart would have been in good condition)
