Lister was a species of peaceful humanoid demons recognizable by their gray, mottled skin and facial ridges. Listers were considered "half-breeds" and, as such, suffered the persecution of the Scourge.[1]
According to their prophecies, the Lister would be saved from the Scourge by a mythic figure known as the Promised One.[1]
