This unidentified vampire was a vampire Faith Lehane faced soon after she was activated as a Slayer. Alongside two fellow vampires who Faith managed to slay, he fled after she failed to stake him in the heart. Faith tried to dismiss his escape, as she had destroyed "two out of three".
However, years later, Faith would face him again as a manifestation of her regrets created by a powerful demon. The manifestation taunted Faith with the people he killed and sired after she let him escape. Faith fought until she was bitten and left unconscious by the manifestation.
