The Gavrok Box Spiders were a species of spider-like demons contained within the Box of Gavrok. Ingestion of several of these creatures was required to achieve Ascension into the embodimient of the demon Olvikan.
Characteristics[]
The Gavrok Box Spiders were black, had eight legs, beetle-like bodies and relatively small to humans. They were fast, could scale up walls and kill humans by striking at their face. However, they were fairly easy to kill; this was shown when Buffy Summers was able to crush one by simply dropping herself, back-forward onto the spider.
According to Richard Wilkins, these spiders were high in fiber.
