The Orbs of Nezzla'khan were a pair of magical crystal orbs guarded by Nezzla demons. They granted strength that exceeded that of the Slayer and physical invulnerability to whoever carried them. However, the orbs themselves were easy to break, and, once they were broken, their magical effects would be reversed.[1]
History[]
Warren stole these orbs to commit bank robberies. In this state, he was able to punch Xander across the room, overpower and kill a Nezzla demon, lift an armored car to its side with little effort, and withstand having a ton of stone fall on him without injury.[1]
Warren easily bested Buffy in a physical struggle until Jonathan tipped her on the orbs. Buffy smashed them, and Warren ran away.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The script for "Seeing Red," which spells the name of the object as "Nezzla'khan," describes the orbs: "Two handball-sized crystal orbs lightly etched with the same symbols tattooing the Nezzla demons. Suspended in the center of each orb is a small, spiky blood-red sphere."[2]
