Rain of fire was an event in which fire fell from the sky.

History

In 2002, the Beast used the Eye of Fire to create a pillar of flame that shot into the sky, resulting in a rain of fire to fall over Los Angeles that night. According to Wesley, storms and earthquakes also accompanied the rain of fire, causing thousands of deaths.

The local news reported that authorities called the event "meteor showers," which ignited fires and explosions throughout the Los Angeles basin. As fire and rescue teams assessed the ongoing threat, government officials asked people to stay in their homes and off the streets.
