Buffy wielding Hope's Dagger

Hope's Dagger was a magical blade used by Buffy Summers in order to defeat the First.
History
Hope's Dagger was forged from the very first ray of light to shine upon the Earth by Cassandra Rayne, ancestor of Ethan Rayne and that time's Champion of the Powers That Be. After Cassandra was defeated by the First Evil, it hid the dagger in a castle in its own personal hell dimension. Buffy found the dagger and used it to defeat the First. However, it wasn't enough to kill the First but instead dispersed it through all dimensions, something that would take it centuries to recover from. It also released Cassandra and Sid the Dummy to their final resting places.
Characteristics
Hope's Dagger was the only weapon that was capable of harming the First. It was said that only a Champion of the Powers That Be or the Slayer were capable of wielding it. Though called a dagger, the blade actually resembled a longsword.
