Billy Palmer's Kiddy League Coach was the man who beat him into a coma after Billy lost a game. When Billy astral projected out of his coma - bringing the nightmare world back with him - his fear of his coach manifested as a disfigured creature with massive strength and a large club-shaped arm. Terrified to return to his body in case the creature attacked him again, Billy eventually regained consciousness when Buffy - temporarily transformed into a vampire due to her nightmares - defeated the manifestation. Having regained consciousness, Billy told the authorities what had happened, and the coach was sent to jail for his attack.
