Kit Holburn was a student at the rebuilt Sunnydale High and a close friend of Dawn Summers. Alongside Dawn and Carlos Trejo, Kit was targeted by three Manifest spirits on her first day of school but survived thanks to Dawn's older sister Buffy Summers. On November 12, 2002, Dawn was talking to Kit on the phone when an evil presence invaded the Summers house.

According to Principal Wood, Kit was a bit of a troublemaker with a thick permanent record.

Kit presumably left Sunnydale in the second semester when the town was claimed by the First Evil.
