Los Angeles, known as "L.A." or the "City of Angels", is the most populous city in the state of California. It is the birthplace of Buffy Summers and the base of operations of Angel Investigations. A branch of the multi-dimensional firm known as Wolfram & Hart is located in this city. It was sent to Hell by the Senior Partners as retribution for Angel's betrayal in the events of Not Fade Away. In the 16th issue of Angel: After the Fall, Los Angeles was returned back to Earth.
