Ms. Beakman was a Sunnydale High English class teacher.

Ms. Beakman appeared to grade harshly; any student not turning in certain assignments failed her class. On Valentine's Day in 1998, she was tricked by Amy Madison, who used magic to make Ms. Beakman believe she turned in a non-existent paper. Xander Harris noticed this, leading him to force Amy to cast a love spell which would go wrong, making every woman in Sunnydale fall in love with him, including Ms. Beakman.
