Miss Kitty Fantastico was the pet kitten of Willow Rosenberg and Tara Maclay. She was a black/grey kitten with white rear feet, a white stripe from her chin to chest, and a small spot of white fur around her nose.

Behind the Scenes

• Willow and Tara discussed getting a cat in the episode "New Moon Rising."

• In 2005, Diamond Select Toys produced a small figurine of Miss Kitty Fantastico in the "Together Forever" set with Willow and Tara.^[1]

• After Season Five, Miss Kitty Fantastico is not mentioned again until the penultimate episode of Season Seven, "End of Days," when Dawn says “Xander, my crossbow is not out here. I told you, I don’t leave crossbows around all willy-nilly… Not since that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico.” This statement implies that the cat died because Dawn carelessly left a crossbow laying around, though one could also infer that Miss Kitty Fantastico walked across the weapon and nearly skewered someone in the house. Either way, the cat is not shown escaping Sunnydale in the series finale, and can confidently be pronounced dead, lost, or given away.
