Mrs. Taggart was a Sunnydale High chemistry teacher. 

Buffy Summers, Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg where in her class. During a test, Buffy would not stop talking about her escapade with Faith Lehane the other day. Despite being repeatadly told to keep quiet and reminded about the importance of the test, Buffy still proceed to run out of class when Faith arrived to slay vampires.
