Old Demons, Part Three is the eighteenth issue of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten comic book series. Joss Whedon is the executive producer.
Synopsis[]
The Slayer's advantage against a powerful demon – having super-awesome friends – may be her undoing as Archaeus pits Spike and Angel against one another.[1]
Continuity[]
- This issue ends the Buffy/Angel crossover of Season Ten.
- Spike calls Angel by his real name Liam, which causes Angel to have a brief glimpse of his father, last seen in a flashback in "The Prodigal".
- Angel references the events of Giles' death when he says "It never goes well when I ask this, but... Did we win?", from Last Gleaming, Part Four.
- D'Hoffryn informs the Scooby Gang about the alliance between the Mistress, the Soul Glutton, and the Sculptor, as seen in Day Off (or Harmony In My Head).
- Angel doesn't recognize D'Hoffryn, as they had never met in the series.
- Buffy and Angel mention haven't seen each other for a long time; they last saw each other in Last Gleaming, Part Four.
