Owne Thurman was a Sunnydale High student to whom both Buffy and Cordelia were attracted. A poetry fan, he ended up accompaning Buffy, Xander and Willow to the Sunnydale Funeral Home when Giles was trapped on the premise by a group of vampires, subsequently being nearly killed by a newly-risen vampire before Buffy managed to kill it. The following day he expressed an interest in further such dates, but Buffy gently turned him down, recognising that his attitude would simply result in him getting killed if he stayed in her world for too long. He was portrayed by Christopher Wiehl.
