"Prologue" is the first story in the "Tales of the Slayers" graphic novel.
Sineya, the first Slayer, fights a vampire just outside of an African village. Afterward a young village woman comes to her and offers her food and informs her that, though the village elders are grateful, they want her to leave because she is part demon. The girl tells Sineya that is also the reason for the Shadow Men to create only one Slayer, and that when she dies, another girl wil be chosen and so forth, forever. Silent, Sineya simply leaves, filled with confusion and pity but also with some comfort.
"Prologue" is the earliest full story; preceded chronologically only by flashbacks. The story is set after the tale from "Get It Done".
