Rowena was one of the New Slayers and a member of the Slayer Organization. She was a member of Buffy Summers' squadron in Scotland. Together with Satsu and Leah, she was one of Buffy's must trusted Slayers. In the Wolves at the Gate story arc she took over Buffy's squad when Buffy went to save Willow from Kumiko. In the Time of Your Life story arc she coordinated the evacuation of the Slayers' castle headquaters when it was struck by a missile and later led the slayers and their wiccan supporters into battle against the army of snakemen who were magically conjured by the missile's explosion.
