Sophie was a co-worker of Buffy Summers' at the Doublemeat Palace.

Buffy invited Sophie to her 21st birthday party. Due to the curse Halfrek placed on them in response to Dawn Summers' wish, she was stuck with the rest of the party-goers at the Summers' residence for several days.
Sophie had numerous food allergies including chocolate, peanuts, egg yolks, barley, and sometimes dairy. Anya Jenkins made fun of Buffy because she didn't know Sophie's last name and mentioned that the friend she and Xander Harris invited was better.
