Splenden Beasts were fish-like creatures that resembled giant Betta Splendens. They moved through levitation and were powerful telepaths, capable of influencing minds, projecting thoughts and reading minds, even those of vampires, who were usually immune to mind reading. Betta George was a Splenden Beast associated with Spike and Angel.
