Sunny was a homeless girl and a drug addict living in Los Angeles. Like many runaways, she ran away from home to escape her parents; however, she eventually got involved in drugs, which she obtained from a drug dealer named Tyke.
In 2002, she was saved by Connor from being raped by Tyke. Afterward, Sunny took Tyke's jacket, in which she found money and more drugs. Sunny took Connor back to her place, where she gave him new clothes to replace the rags he wore and also gave him his first kiss. Moments later, however, she died of a drug overdose.
