The Wishverse Sunnydale was different from the mainstream Sunnydale. It's seen in the alternate timeline created by Anyanka after Cordelia Chase wished Buffy Summers had never moved there.

Differences

• The residents of Sunnydale are much more aware of the supernatural. They didn't wear bright colored clothes so as not to attract vampires.

• The town has instituted a curfew and teenagers aren't allowed cars.

• Maple Court is deserted after dark.

• School is canceled once a month to hold memorial services. The school holds social events, such as the Winter Brunch, during the day instead of evenings.

• The Master makes his home at The Bronze which is overrun with vampires.

• Willow and Xander are both vampires, and also high-ranking members of the Order of Aurelius.

• Angel has been imprisoned and tortured at the Bronze, and bears several prominent burn scars on his chest.

• Buffy is a far more battle-hardened, fatalistic, and cynical individual, who is more willing to kill and lives for nothing but her Slayer duties.

• Giles leads a small resistance of vampire hunters known as the "White Hats", who attempt to undermine the Aurelian vampires, but lack the proper resources to actually hurt them.
