The Sunnydale Mission was a Catholic Mission located in what would become Sunnydale. In 1812, the Mission was swallowed by an earthquake, which trapped the Chumash spirit Hus until the Mission was accidentally discovered days before Thanksgiving 1999 by Xander Harris.
