The Wolf, the Ram, and the Heart, Part Four is the forty-second issue of the Angel comic book series. Written by David Tischman with Mariah Huehner and illustrated by Elena Casagrande, it was originally published on February 16, 2011, by IDW Publishing.
Synopsis[]
Illyria finds Angel in deep trouble, and Angel finds Illyria... altered. The two of them must confront Wolfram & Hart, and the Big Bad, if they have any hope of rescuing L.A. Of course, it's not nearly that simple, and Illyria must make a sacrifice so Angel can do what he does best: be a hero.[1]
Continuity[]
- Angel notices the physical changes Illyria underwent in the Illyria: Haunted miniseries, like her hair and smell.
- Illyria says she is living proof that Wolfram & Hart is not to be trusted, referring to her own return happening due to the orchestration of the firm's employees ("Shells").
- Anne reveals she is pregnant with one of Myresto's demons. Other instances of forced mystical pregnancy were Cordelia and a group of women in "Expecting," Darla from "Heartthrob to "Lullaby," and Cordelia again from "Release" to "Inside Out."
- Myresto mentions Laura's wounds and ripping Angel's arms and legs, referring to his attack in Letters Home: A Jamesian Interlude.
