Todd Dahl was the lead singer of the band Double-Cross and a Sunnydale High School student in 1999.[1]

Biography[]

Driving by Sunnydale High in his car, Todd saw Buffy Summers in the blood drive and noticed she was not in his notebook of "acquaintances." He hit on her, inviting Buffy to see his band headline at the Bronze that night. While Buffy was not interested in him, Amy made an effort to donate blood just to sit beside Todd.[1]

At the Bronze, Buffy, Cordelia, and Xander danced to the Double-Cross, while Willow and Oz stayed at the table to ignore the rival band. Amy asked for Todd's autograph, but he ignored her in favor of talking to Buffy. He insisted on taking her out, which Buffy continued to refuse. When Todd took her by the arm, the Slayer twisted his, telling him to take a hint. As Todd left the club, he passed by Amy and told her that the Dingoes Ate My Baby might have ordered her to be his stalker as a joke.[1]

The next morning, Todd spread the rumor that Buffy had been his latest conquest. Meanwhile, Amy performed a spell in the boiler room to change "a son to a daughter." When Todd went to the bathroom, he screamed and left the cabin with a womanly appearance. Amy spread the word about the "new girl" who was caught in the boy's bathroom and was "definitely loose" by the loose way "she" dressed. Todd tried to talk to his friends, but they only talked to him trying to take him out.[1]

As Amy watched on, Buffy told her that she should probably end the spell. Amy said that Todd deserved it because of the way he had treated both of them, but Buffy questioned if she hadn't learned her lesson about messing with witchcraft. Todd ran away to the girl's bathroom, and Buffy convinced Amy to undo the prank and not lower herself into making it an act of revenge. Todd transformed back into his male appearance, but he didn't know how to leave the cabinet without the girl in the bathroom seeing him.[1]
