UC Sunnydale is the local college in Sunnydale. Buffy Summers, Willow Rosenberg, Riley Finn, and Tara Maclay were all students there at one point. It was destroyed along with the rest of Sunnydale by Spike in the fight against the First Evil.
It served as a front for the activities of members of The Initiative which was located beneath the campus.
Many of the housing on campus was haunted including Lowell House.
Most UC Sunnydale exterior scenes were filmed at University of California, Los Angeles.
