Warlock

Warlock is a term that refers to male magic practitioners, specifically to the male counterparts of Witches. Warlocks are capable of harnessing mystical forces through spells and even without them.
While in the case of witches the ability to manipulate magical forces sometimes is passed from mothers to daughters, in the case of warlocks no such case is known. That means Warlocks are product of training and not of nature.
While not human, the demon Cyvus Vail was referred to as a warlock, a sorcerer, and a wizard. The term warlock also carries a connotation of practising dark magics.
